太牛! 合肥一高中109人获547份美国大学通知书

109 so-called 'Super Scholars' at a high school in east China's Anhui Province have reportedly received a total of 547 admission letters from universities in the United States.

据报道，中国东部安徽省一高中的“学霸班”，109名学生收到了美国大学的547份录取通知书。

With just two weeks to go till this year's College Entrance Examination, known as the Gaokao, the students were comparing notes at their commencement ceremony at the International Department of Hefei No.1 High School.

现在距高考还有两个星期，合肥一中国际部的学生们正在毕业典礼上互相交谈。

30% of the students received offers from the top 30 universities in the U.S., with 92% getting offers from the top 50 schools, such as Smith College, Cornell University, the University of California, Berkeley, etc.

其中30%的毕业生收到了美国TOP30大学的通知书，92%的毕业生收到美国TOP50大学的通知书，比如史密斯大学、康奈尔大学及加州大学伯克利分校等知名院校。

One student, Wu Runkun, says he received six admission letters this semester. He said the achievement wasn't easy, and that he'd had to prepare at least six months ahead before applying for these schools.

一名名叫吴润坤的同学称，自己收到了6份录取通知书。他表示，去美国读大学没有那么轻松，必须提前半年开始准备。

But the hard work has only just begun. Wu also said he believes Chinese students who study in the U.S. may struggle to fit in due to the differing education styles between China and the United States.

但繁重的工作才刚刚开始。吴润坤同学还表示，去美国读书的中国学生需要努力适应两个国家不同的教育方式。

Apart from the United States, the 109 'super scholar' students also received offers from universities in other countries, including Australia and Canada.

除了美国之外，“学霸班”的109名同学还收到了澳大利亚、加拿大等国的大学的录取通知书。
