调查显示 近半数学生遭受过校园欺凌

Younger students experience school bullying more frequently than older ones, and male students are bullied more than their female peers, a survey found.

一项调查发现，低年级学生遭遇校园欺凌的频率比高年级学生更高，男生遭遇校园欺凌的程度高于女生。

The 21st Century Education Research Institute, a think tank in Beijing, surveyed 1,003 students from 12 schools in the city, and found that nearly half of students have been intentionally bumped or knocked down by classmates.

北京智库21世纪教育研究院对该市12所学校的1003名学生进行调查后发现，有将近一半的学生有被同学故意冲撞的经历。

About 6% said they are targeted by bullies on campus almost every day.

约6%受访学生表示，他们几乎每天都是校园恶霸欺凌的对象。

Students at ordinary schools experience more bullying than peers at top institutions, and children from impoverished families are more likely to be bullied at school, according to the survey.

根据调查显示，普通学校学生遭遇的校园欺凌比优质学校学生更多，来自贫困家庭的孩子更可能遭遇校园欺凌。

Being bullied can have an adverse impact on a child's personal development and academic performance, according to Zhou Jinyan, a researcher at Beijing Normal University's Capital Institute for Economics of Education.

根据北京师范大学首都教育经济研究院的研究人员周金燕表示，遭遇欺凌会对孩子的个人发展及学业表现有负面的影响。

"Children being bullied will find it hard to trust others," Zhou said. "They may lack self-confidence and often feel anxiety, anger, resentment or depression. These emotions will further undermine their ability to control their own life."

周金燕称：“被欺凌的孩子会发现他们很难信任别人。他们可能会缺乏自信，经常感到焦虑、愤怒、怨恨或抑郁。这些情绪将进一步削弱他们支配自己生命的能力。”
